I recently picked up a K7S5A Pro + memory in a trade and the system it will be going into will be for divx and folding mostly, so I'd obviously like to bump up the processor speed. I'll be picking up a 1700 or 2100 Tbred B for it, but I'm going to have to change the multiplier - I've never used a board that doesn't have multiplier adjustments in the BIOS, so gonna have to do it the hard way
So far this is what I've found:

Seems pretty straightforward, but I'd like to know if anyone has anything to add or has used this method themselves for overclocking. Also, think I would be better off saving a few bucks on the processor and just getting the 1700 Tbred B for this particular board? And is the 1700 on Newegg a Tbred B? It specifies B on the 2100 but not the 1700
