My systemm does not seem to like QIII and it's refresh rate (60). My GF2Ti450 is set to "optimal" (default)- whatever that might be. Since QIII runs at 60 and my card runs at something other than 60, I have some minor problems. After I play the game and exit, I have trouble waking the monitor after it shuts down. When I attempt to wake the monitor it just gives me horizontal lines. This only happens when I play the game , then try and wake the monitor after it shutsdown. If I do not play QIII, it does not give me the lines after waking the monitor. Would it be better to change the refresh rate on my monitor to default (60) or hack the game to run at something different (say 75, to coincide with what I could set my monitor to)? What to do.
helpful info- On "Quickness" in my rigs:

GF2Ti450- 22.50's- default speeds 250/400
QIII Arena/Team Arena- w/ patch 1.31 (latest I could find)
Cybervision CV70- 17" Monitor
