I bought an ATI Xpert98 PCi video card, and it ended up not behaving as a secondary video adapter due to a BOIS issue. So it has to be the primary diplay on boot, so I set my computer to initialize PCI video cards first, no problem. System boots with the ATI card..
But, I want my 19" monitor to be the primary monitor within the OS. In Win2K, I just told the OS that this one's primary. I don't remember ever seeing this in any Win98 flavor, but I wonder if it's in WinME? If not, any hacks? Disabling one of the cards in the System Devices maybe? I'd assumre that wouldn't work, but my only reason for using one of those OS's is for games, in which case I never use the second display, and need that ATI not to be primary.
