Hello all. It's me again. Geezerman, I know enough just to be dangerous. I just installed a new ABIT VA-20 motherboard, I'm so proud!, and right now I have the factory settings at : CPU FSB Frequency Selector 133 MHZ, it's changeable to 100, 133, 166, 200 MHz
I'm using my old Athlon XP2400 chip, which I think operates at 266 bus speed. I'm a bit confused about whether its 133, or 266. All this stuff I read about about vertical bus speed. I think I'm supposed to set it at 133, and the XP2400 cycles twice per clock cycle, or something like that.
Do I set the Motherboard jumpers at 133 or 200 or what?
I downloaded that Panopsys freeware, it says it's operating at 1991.88 MHz and a FSB of 132.79 MHz
Motherboard is set at factory default of 133 MHz
