Hi I am trying to set up dual display with my 8600gt. I have the lastest drivers from nvidia. nView picks up my computer and also my Receiver. I have my second DVI connected to my reciever through a DVI--> HDI wire.
nvidia multidisplay is only giving me the option for Clone mode and not the mode to run each monitor indendently. (the monitors are Samsung and SR-606 (my reciever).
When I click force TV detection on startup it add an third option called "TV" and then allows me to run the two monitor in independent mode. But then I have to manually change the third monitor from TV to SR-606 for it to work properly.
Is there anyway to get both monitors displayed independently without "forcing TV Detection on startup"
