I am using an Abit Slotket !!! with a celeron 566@850 and what to bump to 952 but need more voltage and cant get it higher that 1.7v in BIOS. When I set the jumpers on the slotket card to say 1.8v and go into Sandra it says that the voltage is still set at 1.7v. How do I override the BIOS so that the slotket card can set the voltage? I would rather set the voltage in the BIOS but can seem to get the Bios to go higher that 1.7v even after flashing to the latest version (QR)which sould allow me to go to 1.9v but doesnt. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

i don't think setting the voltage on the slotket does any good if your chip and bios don't support it... the only way i know to get around this is to "mod" your chip by shorting some pins to "fake out" your mobo in thinking you have a p!!! fc-pga and it will boost your default voltage to 1.65v,... i don't remember the site i found this on off my head so just search for it... good luck

I think you may have seen that on Tom's Hardware (www.tomshardware.com)

I don't know if it will work though.
However, if you set the voltage on the SLOTKET, and in the BIOS set it to "CPU default" I believe the voltage set on the SLOTKET will show up.

UPDATE----finally got it to work, had to set the voltage to 1.7, go into the bios (awdflash bxr_qr.bin) and save it but dont program it and exit. Then run (awdflash bxr_qr.cin /cc) and let it program....and it set the default to 1.7v and can go to 1.9v....yipppeeee...thanks for all your help guys....
