setting a default email address in exchange 2000

Hi all,

Here is the issue. Every time I create a new user in AD, the default email address is username@domain name.com i.e john@yahoo.com

but I wanted to make the default email address to: first name.last name@domain name.com i.e john.doe@yahoo.com

Thanks for your help.
 
You have to set it up in the default profiles for the users. E-mail address format is one of the options in the profile. I can point you to the exact location if you need more information.
