Setpoint application-specific settings...

After using a MS intellimouse explorer for 3 years, I switched to a MX1000. I had been using application-specific settings for ever, and now setpoint doesn't include them. I find this really frustrating and dissapointing, as I really can't live without them. The mouse is very comfortable and tracks well, but this major oversight makes me want to throw it out the window.

I tried logigamer, and it's OK for games and for rapidly setting different profiles, but when I work, I need to have different settings for each application, many of which I run at the same time. The "auto-switch" featuer, while it works, I find that after working for a half hour the mouse driver can't take re-starting anymore and just blocks itself until I reboot.

Anyone have ANY news about logitech driver development for setpoint???

To add application-specific settings to Logitech SetPoint, you will need to modify some XML files by hand. But, it is all possible.

the mx1000 (and setpoint) is made by logitech
