Thanks to all the people who used and supported SetiTEAM over the last few years.
As you have by now noticed I have decided not to invest more of my time updating SetiTEAM to cope with random unnecessary changes in the statistics pages.

Having spend approximately 300 hours (good god I must have been insane), updating and enhancing SetiTEAM I have decided enough is enough!

SetiTEAM is no more and I have removed seti@home from all my PC's - I wish you all well for the future but I guess I won't be with you.

Regards
Sqiz.

PS. Thanks to everyone who emailed me today just to say thanks (1,347 so far).:(

Sqiz,
Sorry to see you are leaving. :( It is SETI's great loss.

Your add-on program has brought many people great joy and sadness (depending on whether they were winning or losing a race ;)) and has benefited the whole of the SETI Society. :D

THANKS! for all you have done for SETI! :D

Good luck to you in whatever endeavors you chose to pursue from here. :)

I hope that you woul be open to allowing another "crazy" programmer to use your source code and continue to maintain SETITEAM.

(we do love our stats, lol!) :D

Thanks a lot Sqiz for SetiTEAM, it is a great program.

Would you consider releasing your source code in case others would like to develop it in the future?

I'm sorry that Berkeley's latest stats (which don't even work properly) have put you off Seti.

I wish you well in the future

Shows how much you are appreciated. ;) :)

Also means you probably won't get around to reading my emails. :(

I, for one, would be happy to see the code go public, or, if you would be willing to ship it my way, I would take a look at it and see if it is in my league (or if I am in it's league) to try to at least do minor maintenance. If it is written in a language I know, that is....

Thanks for the effort and hard work on a great add-on. :)

I feel some of your pain sqiz.

I was helping to write a GUI installer for the CLI and stopped because of the bandwidth problems. I started getting quite a few emails about the installer not working, which, moslty;), was do to the fact the cli couldn't download a workunit to get started.

Sqiz: Sorry to see you giving up on the project but each of us has to decide what's best for themselves. All I can say is thanks for all the work you've put into SetiTEAM and good luck down the road. :)

Sqiz,

I like everyone else here hates to see the project lose a member of your caliber. SetiTeam has been a great add on that has added alot of enjoyment to the Seti experience.

I hope that you will pop in here from time to time and just relax and enjoy the atmosphere. We always enjoy the company of top notch individuals such as yourself.

Good luck with future endeavors. I never used the program personally, but there's no way I could escape it's influence.. Thanks for providing the project with a valuable tool and presence.

All the best, --RT :D
