Setiqueue question (how do I?)

I have 2 SQ's running, one on my internet gateway machine (house queue), the other in the garage with my rack.
Since the garage system sometimes looses connectivity with my access point I started a queue out there so I would have idle time.
I set the garage queue to use my gateway queue as a proxy server at 192.168.0.1 with port 5518.

When I look at the garage queue it shows that WU's are being processed to/from berkeley, but I dont see it on my house queue?

What do I need to change to see the result from the garage queue passing thru my house queue?

Providing you're telling the garage SetiQueue to use the IP/port of the house queue, and the garage clients are using the garage queue, and not the house queue, I don't see any reason why the WUs wouldn't show up on the house queue.

The house queue will now however, only show as 1 client.

If i get you right, you have:

House queue - 192.168.0.1:5518 (default port is 5517)
House clients set to use 192.168.0.1:5518

Garage queue - 192.168.0.100:5518 (for example)
Garage clients set to use 192.168.0.100:5518

In the Settings for the Garage queue, the Proxy server should be set to 192.168.0.1:5518

it is actually:

House queue - 192.168.0.1:5517 (default port is 5517)
House clients set to use 192.168.0.1:5517
Garage client set ar permanent to fixed IP at 192.168.0.61

Garage queue - 192.168.0.61:5517
Garage clients set to use 192.168.0.61:5517
Garage proxy set to 192.168.0.1:5518
garage has w2k server with several win & linux clients running

I was hoping that I could set it up so I could see activity from the garage on my house queue (even if it only shows up as one machine)
Do I need to convert/move the garage client on the house queue to a new queue? How would I do that?

Garage proxy set to 192.168.0.1:5518

That should be :5517

Other than that, looks fine,

I do a similar thing, my friends Q is pointed to my home one, works a treat, exactly like you want.

cheers,

Col
