SETI Which version for Redhat 7.3 Linux?

Waaaaah I wish I wasn't so stupid about linux. And thanks to everyone that puts up with my Linux problem questions.

Which one do I use? and what is the difference?

i686-pc-linux-gnu-gnulibc2.1
i686-pc-linux-gnulibc1-static

Without knowing a great deal about linux, i would say i686-pc-linux-gnu-gnulibc2.1

The other one use static libs. It should be slower that the other.
Only use the other if the first one doesnt work :)

I havent tried them yet, but am in the process of installing Mandrake 9.0 myselft, so I will soon come to that point.
Any pointer for possible pitfalls you avoid/fall in, please let me know :D

I use i386-pc-linux-gnu-gnulibc2.1 on a RedHat 7.0 install. I'd use i686-pc-linux-gnu-gnulibc2.1, but it's only a P200MMX!

i'm in process of installing rh8 on my thinkpad. :D

ps: anyone know how to get seti on a g3/233 powerbook? i just got this recently from a friend :D

I think the gnulibc2.1 is faster. I just switched to it from the other on my Linux PC after reading this thread earlier in the day. WU times are about 10-15 min faster than the other. This is on an Athlon XP 1800+, SiS 735, and SDR (CL=2) memory.
