Welcome to Team AnandTech SETI!

We are now 3,233 members strong! :D

I would like to introduce our newest member:

Here is your Personal Stats Machine

He may not be able to contact you if you don?t have PMs enabled (Allow Private Messages) ? you can do that in your profile.

We hope you drop by often and say hello.

WARNING:

SETI WUs contain hidden rewards, and prolonged crunching can be addictive. TeAm members should guard against excessive computer building, parts hording, and stat checking. <Quote of recent new member, Pokey> :p :D

We like to recommend that all of our new members go to the following link:

How to run SETI and Join TeAm AnandTech

Once you have your SetiDriver setup and working properly it is recommended that you use one of the TeAm's SetiQueues.
This will insure you have WUs to crunch when the Seti Server is down.

How To configure your SetiDriver to use a TeAm SetiQueue.

Our Mentor TeAm <----- <clink> Kudos to our "Big Brothers"

Hello all,

Whoa... thanks a bunch for this great reception :) I was offline for a while (work is just crazy) and missed the invitation, sorry for that...

I've been off SETI for some time already (can't stand using my ageing P3-500MHz), but soon will be once I shop and assemble my new P4 3.0Ghz rig.

Anyway, I've a SETI profile put up (query my email: ming2020@yahoo.com) in case any of you feel like cyber-stalking. :D

As for my moniker, well it's a reference to the two famous falling-down-a-shaft scenes from Star Wars (Luke, and Palpatine). Dying for the official DVDs to come out this year, but I digress.

So, here's a round of belated  :wine: (or any other poison of your choice) or some juice/fizzies (for all you teetotalers out there).

Cheers!

Hey good to see you post here:)

Btw I've got a Celeron 366@566 which does WU's in 9.9hrs ,I'd run it if I had the space & didn't mind paying a bit more electricty;).
Having said that I have a PIII 500 at work which does WU's in 12.5hrs+! :(

I think I've said this before: There is nothing wrong with P3 450-500's. You just need a bunch of them.......................... :p :p :p

I have two singles plus a dually which put out 8-9 WU's a day, plus keep the house warm. ;)
