How to run SETI and Join TeAm AnandTech

Once you have your SetiDriver setup and working properly it is recommended that you use one of the TeAm's SetiQueues.
This will insure you have WUs to crunch when the Seti Server is down.

now can someone point to a place that actually explains the SETI process? all i know at the moment is that radiotelescopes pick up data, and it gets split up and sent to us all for our processors to do something with. what are we actually doing to the data? what is it? crazy frequencies from space?

But basically radio data (around the 1.42GHz area) that is recorded from Arecibo & distributed as WUs is searched through to look for a combination of peak signals,signals that increase & then decrease in strength as the telescope moves,pulse signals & modulated signals(I think!😉).
