Berkeley stats server processes are down. The following is posted on the S@H website:

Data Server Status

The data server process is not running.

Right now the data server machine is up, but the process that actually serves the data is not running. This is probably because we're in the middle of upgrading the server software, or preparing for a quick reboot. These outages are usually brief (10-15 minutes). Please try back again soon.

My last workunit was submitted at 6:09 AM (EST) this morning. The race stats app runs at 6:30 AM (EST) and it failed to connect. Seems that throughout Berkeley history, planned outages are almost always followed by unplanned outages...

Thanks, does not matter to me though since I have an unplanned outage at my home. My man rig that holds my queue is dead! I tried to put in my 8k3ae to replace the 8k3a+ but something is not working and it just reboots! So my main rig is down and not crunching my front room PC is using the seti service and it is just sitting idle, my linus machine was using the 8k3ae so it is down and the garage system is down to 5 wu's. That is a loss of 20+ a day! RRRRRRRRRRR
 
Have an 8RDA+ with a promise ATA raid controller shipped today! I should be up and running by Friday night! Faster than ever too! But that is still a lot of WU's I am missing on!
 
Does it feel weird to not be posting stats and lame commentary OD? I sure does seem weird not to be reading them. 🙂

I'm just back up from a six day outage myself. Just moved into my house and got the first two machines on the wire a little earlier. I'll save the rest of the story for the pics thread. 🙂
