SETI: The drawback to a SetiQ

I came in this morning and during the course of the day checked my local SetiQ as I usually do. Normally it's a routine thing where I notice someone had their PC off or maybe there's a problem with a client (yes SETI can actually help monitor network clients 😉 ). Unfortunately today was not routine. Today I found that my SetiQ box had crashed sometime on Friday so I had 50 idle clients for 2 full days. 🙁 :disgust:

Oh well, nothing can be done about the lost WU's but at least things are okay now and my numbers should return to normal now.

Dayum...sorry to hear that 🙁

You're right...that is the downside to a SetiQ...and the reason I used to use SetiQ as well as SetiDriver on the individual machines with 2-3 days worth of WUs...

I thought your output was down🙁 ,oh well at least its fixed now🙂

I also mix SETIDriver & SETIQ ,your not putting all your eggs in 1 basket then if the Q crashes😉.
I put 3days worth on my work clients to cover me if I forget to flush or the office is locked! ,as well as covering for a Q crash or shut down.
It is a bit more hassle though & I wouldn't fancy doing it on dozens of PCs!

Me 2 🙂

Sucks about the lost output tho 🙁

That's one reason I have my work q pointed to another q I can check when I'm off. I see if there is a problem without waiting until I go back to work.
