Thank you MK4

I finally got alll my computers running but lost the router today AUGH!!!!!!

that one wasn't even 2 months old 🙁

2nd linksys this summer/fall

My back up netgear rp614 is shot as well.its gonna be intresting till I get a replacement :Q

Thanks MK4! 🙂

Dang wolf, you are having all sorts of problems. 🙁

I'm sure one of us may have a spare router we could send until you get a replacement. Is it just me, or does it seem that the quality of the Linksys gear has gone down since they were bought by Cisco? 😕

I've had pretty good luck with the Linksys BEFSR41 and BEFSX41. I use the first at home, and it's been rock solid for over a year now. She second we use at one of my bank's branches for the VPN features. About 9 months on it without any issues. Now watch....tonight they'll both go POOF!

I'm using a WRT54GX (with accompanying NIC on one computer) at the house, and it's been rock solid. Not only that, the range on this thing is amazing. I've gone down the street (~3/8 mile) and still had a signal strong enough to surf with on one of my laptops.

Oh, btw, sneaking a small dump in (had a Laptop take a crap, and I wanted to get the WU sent off before they became corrupted, because they wouldn't copy off without a CRC error).

Now we know. I guess you've answered in part your own question.

And what makes you think I have any sort of caching ability? I'm doing the same workload I did before the race....you think I'm a hardware god or something?

Not sandbagging at all. 😛

Just a nice 400+ WU increase the last day or two. 😛

😉😉

😀

We Borg are eternally persistant, and ignore any outside influences or fluctuations. You will be asslaminated. 😀

Wha?

*looks around*

I dunno what you're talkin about. Just a lowly laptop (lost about 80WU on it, btw). 🙁

Borg long range sensors have detected abnormal thalion flux emmisions from your sector of the quadrant that can only be explained by an exponential increase in workunit disassemblage.

Partial Borg sensor log playback over the last eight solar cycles follows:

Ronin 624 620 630 624 649 659 723 1116

No caching capabilities, indeed. 😉

For a complete sensor log playback, direct your main deflector dish here:

Oh, and by the way...

You will be asslaminated. 🙂

I think... 😱

I went and bought a compusa cheepy till the dlink I ordered comes in, but the frigging thing can see all the network but wont connect from any computer to the internet AUGH.

only 1 comp gets internet now and thats my server, I will max out the caches soon, but the dlink router should be here friday.
