Since I downloaded F@H my times for SETI have more than doubled!!!!!!! My times with
F@H is yet to be determined since I haven't yet finished my first WU.

Should my times have doubled, since my HT chip was running at 50% before I
downloaded F@H?

Are there average times for folding units, or are they too dissimilar?

are you running 2 processes of seti using seti driver or something? if so, back that off to 1 (under Maximum Processes) and run 1 instance of seti and 1 instance of F@H. without knowing what you have running thats what it sounds like to me if your time has doubled.

Thanks for the info. I have one instance of the GUI version of SETI running, and use
SETI Monitor as a cache. I use the GUI since I started with it four years ago, and will
probably stay with it until the end, or 2500 WU's, which is just around the corner.

As I said, I just downloaded F@H only to see my SETI times more than double. Since my
chip is HT (and enabled), and was running at 50% before I was suprised to see the
times jump so dramatically. I can't really speak to the F@H times since I just started
folding.

For whatever reason ,sounds like both S@H & F@H are using the same cpu 'instance' ,if you follow me.
I don't know how to sort that from the F@H end but there is a way to do it via S@H

Btw the GUI version of S@H from v3.03 is considerably slower than the CLI version (at least 25% slower) ,compared to the versions of SETI that were available 4yrs ago or so that is a much bigger difference, it used to be about 5%.

Back to your problem;) ,if you install S@H CLI & SETIdriver I believe you can set which 'instance' to use through SETIdriver. So SETIdriver could be set to No 2 & F@H carry on using No 1

Can someone confirm this?

Thanks for the tips. Task manager shows that both real and logical cpu are in use,
but I may just dump the GUI and run the text client for SETI so I don't fall so far behind.
It has taken four years to climb from # 200 plus on the stats page to #66 on my
registration page. I know thats not the point, but it shows my personal achievement.
Thanks for all the input.
