Whilst roaming in the S@H OC UK forum I spotted a post about SETI shell

Firstly don't ask me about it ,I know SFA about it!😱

But basically it's windows without anything else you normally have ,just enough to run SETI & networking ability.
Apparently it allows SETI to have 99.9% of the cpu time.
That ought to give a small boost I guess ,anyone interested go here

I don't think I can use it effectively 🙁, since I use a program called AGP_Info to improve my memory timings. Takes about 1/2hr off the time. 🙂

Or would the memory timings stay the same in the SETI shell?
 
I believe he added a feature to let you load the programs you need at startup, I'm not sure though I haven't downloaded it yet. Some other guy was using a program sort of like that to optimize his K6.
