New Question

I've got a client whose address changed so setiQ sees it as a new client. Is there a way to merge the two? I saw the new user consolidate option but from reading up on it that seems to merge all clients using the same email address which I don't want.

Any ideas?

Edit again 😛 I found it 😀. It's under tools on the web admin 😱

Original Question

Okay so I just set up my q for home use. All seems to be working well 🙂

My question is do those of you that run a queue typically let the queue upload and download on it's own or do it manually (for making those surprise dumps 😉).

I understand if you have one and are on dial up you'll more than likely being doing it manually.

I have mine sending in WUs as they come into the queue.

However if i'm wanting to do a big dump, i log into the HTTP admin, and disable upload of results, however keep it downloading new work units. 🙂 Then when I want to flush, go back and change "Upload results" to enabled and watch them fly out 😉

I'm a dumper!

So I just load it up and when I run out I load up some more😀

Then make the big dump.

Although now I'm getting worried that with the end near I would hate to have a bunch of completed units and not be able to turn them in. After the MTR is over I'll be uploading all the time😀

I have mine set to connect from 9:00PM to 11:59PM to upload and download wu's. Using the 11:59PM stop keeps the Q stats same as daily production.

Both! 🙂

Home sends and received continuously! 🙂

Work...3:00am to 6:00am to cut down on our slow work network during working hours! 🙂

(Welcome again bunker to the Federation! 🙂 )

I don't want to be hassled by it so my main home Q is on full auto pilot🙂

Though my Work Q & USB flash drive Q are manual of course

Btw guys , I'm betting that when SETI end S@H1 they'll stop sending out WUs 1st before refusing further results,so as to allow sent WUs to be crunched, you know what that means don't you? ,those teams who stock up the most WUs.....................

😀😉

My main queue at home is on autopilot. I have another that I use to sneakernet my work fleet that I do manual uploads and downloads. (It sucks a lot of bandwidth to upload over a thousand results and to download around 10k wu's!!!!)
