Let me see if I can round up someone to help you with this TuffGuy. It may take a while. ;)

Just didn't want to see your post hanging out there unanswered. :)

Under the clients part of my help thread you should look at serialb's XP service install. I've never used it, but it should work fine.

You should be able to use any of the 2K service installs as long as you change the install location to x:\windows instead of x:\winnt.

You can also use my Service install, since it install in Program Files, and creates the folder if it doesnt exist .
It works fine under XP, use it myself.

You can find it her, with Serialb's XP CLI Service Install.

Seti as service

Thanks guys. I have the old install for Win2k, but it doesn't on WinXP. I'll give these a try as soon as I finish reassembling and reformatting my rigs. (lost a 1.6A @ 2.4)

When SETI is installed as a service it will run hidden in the backround whenever Windows is running (including login screen) rather than just when Windows is logged in.

soni - I think you need to update the instruction page for serialb's install. The SVC_XP already has the CLI in it.

The install instructions are for my own service. And I dont include the cli file, since Berkeley asks us not to.
Thats why there is a link to the file @berkeley. :p

But i did find something that needs updating, so I will look into it this weekend :) Thanks
Hope you get it to work.

Also I run my own service :D and it works fine under XP.
Just notice that my service place the folder under Program Files and not under windows\system32 like serielb's install.

Hey bot ... how you doing in the land of MS? :)

Is there any way to cache WUs with the FlexInstaller besides running a Q?
