Awards were handed out right and left, up and down, east and west and a couple right over the top for yesterday's performances. Nice production from our SRL participants, including another rare quad-shockie for LANMAN for his 1277 unit packet purge! Way to go, Lanner Manner!
Excitement abounds in the Race to 9000 where a heated battle has begun for the number three spot in the batting order. And battery is exactly what is taking place on Domination's behind from Rowdy Ray's cane! Having squeezed just a little more speed from the already screaming Rascal Rider, Rowdy Ray has pulled even with the Dominator and is having a little Whack!!!-fest with his platinum-plated Cane of Carnage. Laughing giddily like a young (but homely) school girl, Ray holsters the thumping cane and brings the heinous Cane of Tickle out of it's sheath to really put the screws to Domination! An unfortunate twist of fate delivered by the wu gods has placed the Dominator in a position feared by all who ply their trade at SRL venues... riding side-by-side in the stats with the SRL's original bad boy, Rowdy Ray. Hang in there, Domination!
The roar of the crowd watching Gimme that 6th K-Key! Race to 6000 can be felt as well as heard. That race has a new leader as JimMc streams passed ledzepp98 to take the lead by 13 on the wings of an 18 wu explosion. The road doesn't get any easier for the Long Island Rocker either because the master of funk MoFunk is bearing down from the rear, launching 46 from the wu catapult. Everyone earns a production award in the Race to 8000, with Tuffie pulling down a shockie from Gertrude for his 68 wu effort. Also earning a gaper and a big grin from Gertie is LiveLongAndProsper who assaulted Berkeley's wu receptacle to the tune of 98 workunits. It's also a clean sweep in the Way Cool Race to Crunch 3000 with shockies going to the SRL's number two man Major Tom, the SRL lawman Zappin' Zod, and the Sinister Oscillator. TA-Seti's beloved stats master Slammin' Soni earns himself a smilie as do the Borg, with 64 and 82 wu's respectively.
