Tiring of seeing his lead continually dwindle, SirAllen dusts off the spare rigs and matches his pursuer's output for the day. Still nearly 140 wu's behind, networkman has been a man on a mission since crossing over into five-digits, slowly but relentlessly chewing up the ground separating him from his nemesis.
Consistently producing double-digits, Assimilator1 is doing his best to hold off the hot charge of his nearest competitor Ben. Still giving it his all, IsOs may be running out of time in the Race to Catch Assimilator1. Another twenty wu day by the defster in the desert allows him to lengthen his lead over Mad Max and mg as cakin once again produces nearly twenty for a third day in a row in the Race to Catch def.
A quick look at the Race to 4000 shows that the Biloxi Bomber, the Mississippi Machine, is only one good day from taking the checkered flag. It's been an impressive run for Grandpa Smoke after a slow start that saw Yield make a lot of noise and cause a few restless nights in Smokeball's corner. Meanwhile, zodder continues his recent mastery over Fardringle in the Race to 3000 as his lead stretches to nearly 100 wu's, overshadowing Fardy's stellar production as of late.
In the Race to 2000, the Great Dane has obviously tired of not seeing his name in the headlines and comes through with an outstanding day's worth of production, increasing the size of the cushion between him and Baldy18 to 41 wu's. Behind the two leaders, Electrode produces well yet again but still sees the leaders extend their advantages. We've got some stirring over in the steel cage as Rowdy Ray broke his cane on Super Sukhoi's head and that really ticked off the Russian. Finally awakened from his slumber, Super Sukhoi delivers a devastating head-butt that temporarily stuns the Rowdy One and now has him in a Double-Duplex Triple Reverse Arm Tangle Twist in the corner while one of Sukhoi's cornermen ties the laces of Ray's left boot to the turnbuckle.
Storming into second place by a stunned Jwyatt in the Race to 1500, Admiral Engineer brings all weapons to bear on Gul Dukat's rear flank as the two uneasy allies approach sector 1500. Behind them, an exciting race is shaping up as IceCreamLtDan and the Long Island Rocker close in on Jumpin' Jerry as a scant 37 wu's separate these three combatants. After The Federation and the Cardies blast the sector marker into oblivion, these three are going to provide a ton of excitement as they battle it out to take the checkered flag in the second leg of that race.
Other racers of note include Dark Majiq as he nearly produces in double digits and hauls his rig to within 32 wu's of victory in the Anandtech SETI 1000 and Eltano1 and thecool1 are locked up in a dandy in the YART 1000. Down in the Marathon to 1000, Tarca extends his lead over Panhead49 and ShotgunSteve as the two trailing racers remain tied for a second day in a row, fourteen wu's behind the front-runner. And serialb throws down a double-digit day, increasing his lead over Pyxis as renob crosses the 400 wu mark and motors onto the same lap as his race mates.
