Check out IJump's excellent race prediction analysis. :)

Today it is Super Sukhoi's turn to bathe in the luxurious warm waters of the gold plated gilded hottub with the bare butt cherubs carved around the decorative rim in the victory lounge. Crossing the finish line in the Summer Sizzler to 3500, Super Sukhoi nails his name up on the SRL Wall of Fame before heading over to the awards stand to pick up the key to the lounge and the little slice of heaven that awaits inside. Juggling a scary hardware malady and a move back to the institution of higher learning, Sukhoi still managed to hold off the battle being waged to his rear by a hard charging Powerful Pyxis and cross the finish line before the official close of the summer sizzler season. Congratulations, Sukhoi! Grab a sody pop from the fridge and settle into the hottub and prepare for a quantum mechanics lesson like you've never had before, delivered by our world famous, bikini-clad hottub babes.

Major Tom is beginning to apply a little more pressure to my current position than I care dwell on. With his daily averages now nearing the 60 wu mark, my grasp on 39th place in the TA standings is beginning to loosen. Lane42 continues to lead the Race to 16000 by a healthy margin as Droolie pauses to load up the queue. Team Pazoo, still hovering around the 30 wu per day mark must be starting to feel the bloat of a full wu bladder. Any day now, I expect the climactic culmination of their "Queue-Tinkle-Powie" maneuver to leave the spectators hyper-ventilating at trackside as they dig themselves out from under the fallout from the wu powie. But then again, I could be wrong and Team Pazoo isn't stock-piling wus for a major packet blast. Time will tell...

"Go, Tuffie, go!" The chant crescendos amongst TuffGuy's considerable following in the stands watching the heroes circle the track in the Race to 8000. Leading the pack but watching that advantage dwindle, Tuffie glances over his shoulder to see the mucster cruising only eight wu's to the rear. With a queue-load of new recruits in camp, Mucky Man is not about to slow down for anyone or anything at this point. Back to his true racing form, Minnie Minendo continues to lead the Race to 6000, checking the rear radar periodically for the telltale blips that would signal the aproaching pafster. With nearly 300 wu's to go to the finish line, paf077 has plenty of time to mount an assault on Minnie's flanks. With the addition of the Spleenus Enhancement, the British Bulldog Tag Team Threesome has made the outlook for the Long Island Rocker look not nearly as rosie as it did only one week ago in Another race to 6000. With their new power augmentation system in place, the Bulldogs hover only 23 wu's behind ledzepp98 and are poised to pounce.

There's a big nasty battle brewing in The Star-Studded Stellar Cluster Crunch to 2500 amongst the top three racers in the bracket. Conjur rifles 47 wu's through the wu tubing to burst out to a 19 wu lead in front of ICXRa whose current race tallyometer reads 2326. Only 15 wu's to his rear, the Yielder cruises, looking for an open passing lane. This finish promises to be one for the ages as these three combatants blister the track down the final back stretch. Swanny and Mighty Micron continue their knock-down drag-out war in the PORC 1500 with the Aquatic White Bird nursing a 23 wu lead. Why Yes YS begins his stretch drive to the checkered flag, now only 5 wu's away, in DDad's Wonderful Tuff Crabby Ass(imilator) Race to 750 and what a tour d'force we have in the Race to 750! Dazzling Dave McOwen was handed second place keys yesterday by serialb and this morning hands them right back! A powerful 14 wu purge overnight allowed the Davester to storm right back into the lead by two wu's.

Advancements among racers on 8/30 include Toft / Vold - DK up 1 to 75, wirelessenabled up 1 to 73, MoFunk up 1 to 144, ReaganCRW up 1 to 170, LANMAN up 1 to 65, Freewolf up 1 to 112, Jwyatt up 1 to 115, Panhead49 up 3 to 125, Dazmite up 1 to 141, migroo up 1 to 152, Maggotry up 2 to 155, Emos up 1 to 198, BigFatCow up 3 to 201, Adul up 2 to 431.

Thanks, OD!

I finally have my home fleet back up and running after a bout with Nimda that took out 5 of my machines (and had my cable modem access blocked for a day).

Whew!

Thanks for the stats/commentry OD :)

Sheesh, have we really closed up to Ledzepp that quickly! :Q Last time i looked closely we were about 100 WUs away! :Q Well maybe if i can persuade my mum that i DO really need a new server, then there will be some reworking of CPUs in the Confused hosehold!

For those that are interested, here's what will happen: a new XP1800+ will go into my K7S5A. The 1GHz Athlon (@1.43GHz - 143*10) from the K7S5A will go into the KT7 downstairs, and run at 1.43GHz (110*13) replacing the Duron 850 @ 980, which will go into the new PC Chips board and run at probably just 850, as no multiplier/FSB adjustments

Of course then the best of all worlds will come out and i'll have 3 pretty decent crunchers! ;)

Thanks! OD! :D

48WUs!! WU!WU! Looks like that P4 1.8Ghz M core lappy is kicking in good, along with all the rest of the work fleet. I just love long weekends, and an office that shuts down early on Friday! :D

Too bad I gotta give that lappy up on Tuesday. :( But while I've got it, Crunch On! :D

Have a GREAT Weekend everyone! :D

Confused - What bios are you running on that board? I have a 1.2 T-bird running stock on a K7S5A and want to see how far it will go. It currently has a non o/c bios. Thanks. :)

It was running at 146.7MHz FSB, but proccy fan stopped for an unknown time (hopefully just a couple of minutes) yesterday morning and is now not stable at that speed, even tho no visible marks on processor :( Might just be that the bond between CPU and HS isn't as good this time....i have been wanting an excuse to lap my FOP heatsink...;)

I am currently using the CheepoBios 0429 (from here) but i now see there are newer ones! I might have a look at them, but lack of floppy drive (had to take it from another computer before) will make it difficult to do for me!

This board has no multiplier and voltage settings, so to get full voltage (needed for big o/cs) you will need to connect all the L7 bridges, like you would the L1 ones :))

Good luck with this if you do it, and let me know how you get on! :)

Oh yeah, and another thing, what stepping is your 1.2? The first few letters of the second line on the core. Mine is an AXIA, so darn good overclocker! ;)
