The winner's parade continues today with two more Anandtecher's earning some face time on the Wall and a little butt time in the hottub.
Emerging from the 6K victory lounge long enough to lay waste to some additional competition, the Aquatic White Bird does a little more damage to the racing ranks, this time taking the checkered flag in The Crunch Bunch Munch to 1500. Flapping his wings wildly, Swanny soars directly over the awards stand and right back into the victor's lounge without even acknowleding his fans. He must be right in the middle one extremely fascinating physics lesson from the hottub babes. I can certainly understand the feeling. The last time I heard one of their riveting lectures on particles, photons, and gravitational mass, I hated to even get out of the hottub long enough to head to the little boy's room! So for the second time in a week, congratulations, Swanny!
Joining the white bird in a victory celebration today is none other than Innuendo Minendo, who roars across the finish line in the 1500 WU Tally Tagger with a stellar dumpage of 51 workunits, a tally that hearkens back to Minnie Minendo's days of old before his personally mandated fleet reduction. This race will be long remembered for the see-saw back and forth battle between Rowdy Ray and Minnie before the Rayster turbo-charged the red Rascal Rider. Minnie kept taking beating after merciless beating from Rowdy Ray's various arsenal of canes. From the Cane of Chaos, to the horrendous Cane of Tickle, to the weapon that finally turned the tide for good in Ray's direction, the heinous Cane of Flatulence. Through it all, Minnie remained upright on his racing rig, his eyes trained everlastingly on the 1500 wu goal ahead. Today he earns the kudos and congrats due a warrior of his caliber. Congratulations, Minendo!
What a classic battle being waged in What's 2500 wu's Between Friends? at the top of the bracket! Cruising comfortably with the lead for the past several days, Wayner awakes and glances to the rear to see Lane42 knocking on the door to Wayne's World! Dumping an impressive 80 wu's overnight, Laner has pulled to within a single workunit of the leader. In Another race to 6000, the Long Island Rocker ledzepp98 piles on the packets with 13 and is beginning to increase the distance between himself and the fading British Bulldog Tag Team Tandem. But it's way too early to count the Confused Pair out, yet. The Summer Sizzler to 3500 continues to cook, with dumpages overnight from the middle of the pack bringing out the smilie fairy to reward Super Sukhoi, Maggotry, and Tetsuo316 for their efforts.
Captain Phil's crack engineering crew has fixed the left-side upside-down right hand underneath trans-warp guide stem adjustment strut on the port side nacelle and the USS Phiton is cruising on TG power once again covering a nifty 87 parsecs. And it's a good thing too, because the USS Pazoo was able to get a little transwarp boost overnight and transwarp forward 83 parsecs. With a little over two weeks to go, ShotgunSteve appears to be well within reach of his personal goal of 2000 wu's by 8/19 in Can Steve Shoot 2000 WU's by 8/19/2002?. Go Steve, go! DDad pauses for a little rest in DDad's Wonderful Tuff Crabby Ass(imilator) Race to 750 while Why Yes YS bombards Berkeley's wu target with an impressive 18 workunits.
