As the consecutive day winning streak continues, you'd think that the hottub babes would start complaining, having worked nine straight days without a day off. But not so. Our lovely PhD babes can't get enough of entertaining the racing heroes who earn their victories in their Seti battles. Unfortunately, they've all had to do away with their bikinis and don wetsuits instead since the constant soaking in the hottub water was wrinkling their skin something terrible. I'm sure it won't matter to any of our champions because they all look forward to their visits to the victory lounge for the beer and the physics lessons, anyway.
Today we celebrate the transformation of another one of our own into a new state of existence, a state where four digits become five, a state sorta like Rhode Island. 😕 Baldy18 becomes the latest addition to the glorious 10K club, the 65th Team AnandTecher to earn that final Berkeley certificate and garner the right to carry the official "Seti Stud" calling card in his wallet. Crunching up 14 workunits to land at 10002, Baldy18 heads to the awards stand to pick up his tenth golden K-Key, the one with the diamond in the fob, that will unlock the door to the lavishly appointed 10K lounge where the brewskis and the race babes in their wetsuits await. With "Pimp and Corcumstance" playing in the background, the Bald One unlocks the golden door to the lounge and disappears into the raucus party land that we've prepared just for newly appointed 10K'ers. Congratulations, Baldy18 and welcome to the 10K club!
There is great rejoicing in Seti land this morning as the underdog of underdogs, EvaderMan crosses the finish line in the Clash of the Super WU Poopers - Race to Dump 10,000. And no he didn't finish last. Well, he almost finished last but that's not important today. Limping across the finish line after having been run over by five of TA-Seti's top wu producers in quick succession, Evadman falls into the arms of two of the race babes waiting to greet him at the finish line. The crowd goes wild as the weary and bruised titan killer waves weakly to the throngs who have waited for days at the finish line for his arrival. Apparently too weak to make it to the victor's lounge under his own power, the race babes wheel out a gurney and toss his battered body on top of the wheeled contraption and push him quickly towards the lounge where they will immediately start a Michelob I.V. and a full body massage. That'll have him back in racing shape in no time. Congratulations, Evadman!
