Three winners this morning so let's get right to the kudos.
Sometime during the night, I was awakened by the most horrible racket I've ever heard. I rose from my slumber to see a 1974 powder blue El Camino roar past my position in the TA standings and the one and only rogue racer def leaning out the driver's side window thumbing his nose at me on the way by. The Race Coordinator has been caught and it's time to party in the defster's camp. If you can manage to slow the old El Camino down long enough to pick up the key to the race coordinator's lounge, stop in and wash that dust down with an ice cold soda pop. If you wish to join the race babes in the hottub, we'll have to hose you off first and there will be some qualifying questions because we can't be too careful about who we let listen in on the race babes' physics lesson. Your question is: Describe in 500 words or less the aspects surrounding the Many Body Problem and Density Functional Theory and their relationship to solid state quantum physics. Well? Anyway, congratulations on the impressive victory def! (Now I need to worry about Major Tom who is closing a little too quickly for comfort!)
The second racer in the Race to 6000 crosses the finish line three days after Eltano1. The Aquatic White Bird, Swanny flaps and honks as he crosses the 6k milestone marker and snatches up a fish for a little snack from the Koi pond outside the 6K lounge entrance. It was an exciting and riveting contest we were treated to by Swany and Eltano1, decided only on the last days of the race when the Miami Man shifted into overdrive. But whether you cross the finish line first, second, or 15th, you're still a winner in the Seti Racing League and every contest won and milestone marker crossed is cause for celebration. Tie that 6th golden K-Key around your neck and head on into the 6K lounge where the colas are cold, the cheese plate cheesie and the 6K babes are geared up for a round of relaxing convo in the hottub. Congratulations on the milestone, Swanny.
So now we know what Transwarp AV is all about. Starfleet engineers are still trying to calculate the position of Admiral Engineer's fleet after the huge Transwarp AV explosion vaulted them forward 1,529 parsecs from their previous position. The mammoth transwarp dump leaves the Federation less than 700 sectors from the 20K sector marker in the outer reaches of the quadrant and earns them the coveted and rarely bestowed quad-shockie award. Wrapping up two races in one shot, the Federation reaches their personal goal of 2500 by August 4th with plenty of room to spare and also leaves the participants in The Star-Studded Stellar Cluster Crunch to 2500 standing in awe, mouths agape, after watching the Feds nearly double their race total in one day. So set course for Rigel VII, the most noted Party Planet in the sector and we'll break open a case of Romulan ale for the celebration. And of course, the green-skinned Rigellian race babes are waiting in the hottub, too. Congratulations, Admiral Engineer and the Federation!
