There will be three celebrations in SRL victory lounges this morning. First, we welcome another Anandtecher to the five digit club as Simon Crooke earns the big one, the tenth K-Key, the one with the diamond studs that looks so nice hanging around one's neck. Simon joins the 59 other Anandtechers in the 10K Klub and gets to lounge in the gold plated hottub sipping a nice cold sody pop and listen intently to a wonderful quantum mechanics lecture from our world renowned PhD toting hottub babes. Congratulations, Simon and welcome to the land of five digits!
Foot on the floor, engine screaming, huge smile on his face, Mucman soars across the finish line in the Race to 6000 with arms raised in triumph. It was an impressive ride for the friendly Canadian as he lead this contest from beginning to end. The mucster raised his pre-race dailys impressively during the contest proving that competition brings out the best in SRL participants. Many mornings dawned with the mucster on the other side of twenty wu's, fine tuning, tweaking, upgrading, and assimilating in quite an impressive fashion. Now it's time to party hearty in the 6K lounge. Step up to the awards stand and grab your K-Key to unlock the door to the 6K lounge where the brew is cold, the hottub is steamy, and the babes are oh so very educated. Relax in the tub and enjoy a game of "Particle, Particle, Who's Got The Particle?" or take a little tour of the latest feature in the SRL winner's lounge, the SRL Particle Accelerator where you can watch muons, gluons, and quarks annihilate each other. That should even be more fun than mud wrestling!
It's been a long time since his last trip to the winner's circle, but the SRL racer from King, North Carolina motors his rigs across the finish line, taking the checkered flag on one of the most storied tracks on the SRL circuit, the Team AnandTech SETI 500. Jumpin' Jwyatt, one of the most tenured SRL participants, had the rigs hummin' a happy tune as he rounded the track at a frenetic pace, cruising to victory exactly 200 wu's ahead of his closest competitor. After honoring the winner's circle tradition of squirting a glop of Arctic Silver II on a CPU die, Jumpin' J will head over to the racer's lounge to enjoy a cold one and trade stories about dark matter, black holes, and hydrogen dispersion in the universe with the beautiful hottub babes.
