Hot, tired and itching to use his cane on someone's rump, Rowdy Ray rides the little red piece of hell on wheels over the desolate and dusty race way, listening to the high pitched whine emanating from the Rascal Rider's overclocked engine. It seems like ages since the Rayster has known the pleasure of whacking some unsuspecting fellow racer with the Cane of Carnage, or seeing the sheer terror burn in the eyes of a competitor as he wields the horrific Cane of Flatulence in preparation of a swift and deadly blow. As he rounds another hot dusty turn, Rowdy Ray catches a glimpse of a vehicle ahead. Adrenaline surges through the Rowdy One's body as he quickly glances at the Rascal Rider's Wu-O-Meter that currently registers a neat 37 wpd. Reaching back to the front side bus adjustment screw on the screaming engine, he gently turns the screw one click, two clicks, three clicks and listens intently to the tune being sung by the little powerplant for any signs of instability. Swiftly estimating his distance and speed to target with his lightening quick mind, Rowdy Ray reaches into his cane holster and prepares a little suprise for the unsuspecting JimMc.
The Sinister Oscillator is making another move in The Star-Studded Stellar Cluster Crunch to 2500. Following his recent dash from nearly last to fourth, Wobble's 93 from yesterday moves him up another notch passed SoulAssassin into the number three spot. A little further back in the pack, WayneS continues to stomp out the wu's at a mid-forty pace. He now has the Assassin within his sights, only 28 wu's ahead. Meanwhile, lane42 brings the crowd to its feet as he fires his wu gun 89 times to move up two positions, dragging along a streaking conjur who follows expertly in lane's draft as the pair pass GreatWhiteNorth on their way through the pack. Lots of excitement every day in this free-for-all.
Aboard the USS Jaws, all sorts of strange things are happening as the ship has wandered too close to the Bermuda Triangle of the heavens, <spooky music>, Sector 666! </spooky music> Despite Captain Indy's attempts at navigating around the anomaly, it seemed to draw the ship into it's center and now the Jaws has lost warp power, the replicators will only reproduce stewed prunes, a Gilligan's Island re-run is playing on the main view screen and worst of all, the Sponge Bob Square Pants theme song keeps blaring over the ship's comm system. Somehow, Captain Indy must free the ship before his crew goes completely insane!
