Milestones achieved on 7/12:
shuxclams - 8000 (8010)

Todd Willet - 1500 (1501)
Blorg - 100 (102)
The Master - 100 (100)
---------------------------------------------
The Race to 2000 sees a lead change as cakin throttles by Fardringle with a big day. Don't worry though Fardringle, there's still nearly 160 laps to go in this race. Plenty of time for you to swap tires and get back into it.
Let's welcome back a veteran racer to the race thread. RaySun2be joins the Race to 2000. Although well off the pace of the leaders, we'll see if any other TeAmers near Ray have the courage to challenge the former 1000 champ to the next milestone of 1500 or even 2000.
One thing that can be said for the racers in the Race to 5000 is that so far they have both been rock solid with their consistent production. It still looks like it might take just a little more horsepower from Polo to capture the crown ahead of Ben, but anything can happen in the next twenty or so days.
Uh-oh, looks like def may have developed a bit of engine trouble, allowing the Crunchin' Canadian to eat away a little bit of the distance between first and second in the Race to Catch Def. mg is also using the lull in def's production to gain a little ground on both leaders. One thing to keep in mind, though: we've seen this tactic from the cunning def before!
Our friends from the SETI 500 have decided to stick around and race to 1000, the first major Seti milestone. Right out of the gate, we have a lead change as SpookyFish storms into the lead ahead of the 500 champ, picking up two positions in TeAm standings in the process.
What can I say about Hack? [grandpa voice] I remember when that little whipper-snapper was only turnin' in about 12 wu's a day! Now look at him! I'm proud. Mighty proud! [/grandpa voice] Way to go, Hack.
The only other advancement on 7/12 besides cakin and Spooky is Swanny who advances two positions to finish the day at 231.

As always, let me know of any new challenges.
