Invitees continue to stream into the new Race to 6000 this morning as two more racers join the fray. Welcome back one of our most respected racing veterans to the active circuit. After a brief vacation with the lonely racers, JimMc dusts off the racing paraphernalia and sets his butt in the pilot's chair of the command rig of his fleet, currently cruising in fourth place, to see who he can make cry for their momma. Also joining this illustrious assembly is paf077 making his Seti racing rookie debut after monitoring his stats from the lonely racer's bracket for a while. As can plainly be seen, the competitive fires of a contest of skill burn fiercely in paf's belly, the 71 right out of the blocks a strong testament to that fact. Seldom before have we had a more distinguished group of racers assembled for a Seti donneybrook, so sit back and enjoy this one.
With the Big Dawg's lead now down to 428 in The Very Very Loooonnnnggg Race to 10,000, Woof comes through with a very impressive 143 to slow the progress of the hard charging Jumping Bean. It may be time for the Dawg to start leaving some of those fragrant little doggie bombs for IJump to maneuver around. Little did we realize only a month ago that this little pup and little hopper would turn into triple digit wu wielding mega-monster crunchers, with Seti Titan greatness oozing from their pores. 75 and counting. That's the number of wu's the Way Kewl Dude sits behind ElFenix. What's that smell? It smells like... why I believe it's garlic! m2kewl has already started sautéing the garlic, butter, and green onions, (with a spritz of lemon and black pepper), in preparation of enjoying a crab leg snack. But don't count your crabs before they're... ummm, nevermind... That enormous Alaskan King Crab is dangerous when cornered and has been known to snap off an arm or a leg with his scary foreclaws when he's angry.
Dazmite is right on schedule to break the tape at 3000 on or nearly on the target date of May 11th. From the back of the pack, wirelessenabled is making a very strong showing, yesterday piling up 29 workunits on Berkeley's doorstep. While his recent push won't be enough to catch the Dazzler, wle should be able to stir up a little trouble with Ammocan and JimButts as they approach the 3K mark. bbarnes continues to extend his lead in the May Mauling to 3500, but once again in one of our feature races, the remaining racers are putting on quite a thrilling show. With Ishie, Pyxis, and nemur separated by only 55 wu's with quite a distance yet to cover, the battle for the second place trophy will be a barnstormer. And don't count out Maggotry just yet!
conjur's fans are going nuts as he dumps 87 workunits on the track in The Mid-Major Crunch to 2500 with a Handicapped NWM to extend his lead over the defster to 81. Not to be out-done, Yield purges 84 to put a little pressure on Crazee from the fourth position. soni continues to make it difficult for networkman to pass, but NWM's relentless pursuit leaves him only 26 workunits behind the Great Dane. Mighty Micron pulls a fade and pass maneuver on the Evader, dumping 29 to pull into second position in the Race to Crunch 1000 with a Crazee Twist and put a little pressure squarely on the hind quarters of IcecreamLtDan who now leads this mass of competitive maniacs. With only 50 wu's between first and fifth the remainder of this race should make everybody just about pee with excitement. The lead is now down to an even 30 for Innuendo Minendo in The M & M Boys & Some Others Race to Crunch 1000 after the predatory canid knocks another four off minendo's lead while the migrooster and Crabby duke it out for third place.
