The Race to Crunch 1000 with a Crazee Twist crowns it fourth champion this morning as the team of Great Danes, Toft / Vold - DK cruises across the 1000 wu tally line to earn kudos, congrats, and a new car. Well, maybe not the new car, but you still get the kudos and congrats plus the undying respect and admiration of your adoring teammates. A testament to the competitive nature of this top group of racers is the fact that the first four participants all cross the finish line within two days of each other. Whether it's a first place finish or a fourth place finish, the Tofters and Volders are still champions in the eyes of all. So enjoy your traditional victory brew, a couple of laps around the hottub, and some titillating cerebral conversation with the physics babes. You're in luck, too, because I understand that Monday's the day they prime the linear ion traps with fresh plasma! Congratulations, Toft / Vold - DK!
Speaking of the Race to Crunch 1000 with a Crazee Twist, what a battle we should all be treated to as the remaining competitors vie to be the next to cross the 1K tally marker! Leading the remaining group is the long-time racing veteran, IcecreamLtDan with a current tally of 770. But following closely behind him at 744 is the Evader himself. But for Evadman, the road ahead will most likely not be an easy one because of the great big bullseye being painted on his rump by both micron and the migrooster who cruise only four workunits behind. As if that's not enough, only 17 workunits further back runs thecool1 at 723, smoothly maneuvering his rigs, deftly looking for a passing lane. The rest of the action promises to be hot and heavy in this crunch fest so grab some popcorn and hide the women and children!
Despite consistently stellar production from the top spot in The M & M Boys & Some Others Race to Crunch 1000, Innuendo Minendo has watched his lead shrink to 34 workunits following two magnificent days of dumping by the predatory canid Freewolf. Coming up only three shy this morning of his masterful 40 of yesterday, Freewolf appears rabid and hungry to recover the numero uno position. Spots three and four in this race also warrant a wu watch as only 9 wu's separate migrooster and Crabby.
