Due to a technical snafu, today's stats run did not complete at it's scheduled time of 6:30 AM EST. These numbers are inflated by 4hr 30min. As a result, tomorrow's numbers will be lower than usual.
Still frolicking around following his 50 wu performance yesterday, JimMc closes the curtains on the 3000 wu Romp by surging across the finish line and taking the checkered flag with an encore performance featuring the cracking of 53 more workunits at the hands of his capable fleet. Earning another gilded K-Key to go along with his first two, JimMc is well deserving of a little rest and relaxation in the 3K lounge with those gorgeous SRL race babes and a little sip of celebratory brew. You may have been the last to cross the line in this race, but a milestone is always cause to party and that's what we do best here in the Seti Racing League. Congratulations, JmMc!
Let's go first to several races that are beginning to rivet racing fans. The crowd has risen to it's feet and the deafening cheers have crescendoed to a thunderous roar at the venue hosting the Race to 2000 as the Dominator has drawn even with Pyxis who has lead this race throughout. Cruising side-by-side at 1920, the two combatants power their way down the back stretch and steer their rigs towards the final turn in what has become a thilling come back by a racer who was all but counted out of the race immediately after it began, trailing his two racemates for the duration of the race. But Dom has perservered, first handing Evadman the keys to the third position, and now pulling even with the man who has lead the contest since the opening bell. What an inspiring performance of grit and determination from the Dominator and his two worthy opponents!
Another power-packed, adrenaline filled vault of human endurance and Seti brilliance is the Quickie to 1500 where young micron is continuing to enhance his reputation as a block-busting, late-charging, come-from-behind daredevil as he makes his patented late inning thrust for glory. A powerful surge consisting of 63 workunits from his packet-busting machinery has pulled the racing sophomore to within a scant 25 cracked packets of nemur who is making his own powerful drive for racing immortality. The next day should reveal whether or not micron's motor has enough juice to pull off the upset victory over the upstart racing rookie named nemur.
The Pie Guy continues establishing his presence among the TA Seti titans. Today's near 200 wu performance will cause many to utter the name of the Awesome Aussie in reverence along with the likes of Robor, Eponymous, and Indy. Also impressing the race statisticians and fans alike is Slahr Dzhe who has cranked out over 90 wu's for three days in a row, prompting many to wonder where the added power has come from. Speaking of power, Eltano1 reels off a mighty blast in the Race to 5000. 320 workunits puts the Man from Miami in the company of our other premiere dam-and-dump cruncher, DroolMAN!. Fortunately for EvilWobbles, the mega-flush leaves Eltano1 still in second place, but only by 27 wu's. Another daring dumper worthy of distinction today is currently running in second position in the Race to 3000. m2kewl unleashes a torrent consisting of 110 workunits to send a little message to the Jeep Man up ahead that his possession of first position may be a pronounced bit more precarious than he had previously pondered.
