The third and final E-Migo has crossed the finish line in the Y.A.R.T. 1500. Following his fellow E's, Evadman and Eltano1 who crossed a while back, Emos earns the midway milestone between K's one and two. While he may have taken longer than his fellow race mates, Emos demonstrated the fine art of Seti consistency, nearly always maintaining his strong and steady throughput, and at times shining with impressive spurts. Congratulations on the milestone, Emos. It's dedication and consistent production like yours that helps make Team Anandtech what we are. Enjoy your dip in the hottub!
This morning we welcome back an old friend to the race thread as networkman issues himself a challenge, and a lofty one at that. NWM has asked that we track his progress while he chases down the lofty goal of 20,000 workunits by June 1st. Fast approaching 16,000, NWM has quite a long row to hoe to reach that lofty pinnacle by that point in time, but he's off to a rousing beginning, cracking up nearly 50 in his first day in the thread. Good luck, NWM!
The human tidal wave has returned from his brief leave of absence. Droolie announces loudly to his competition and the rest of the Seti world that he's back and he's got moisture on his mind. Continuing to stir wu's into the pot during his absence, the man from Malaysia returns to open the gates and saturate two separate racing venues with sloppy depleted workunits. This is not good news for crt1530 and Mad Max, the two racers most likely to drown in the Slobber Guy's latest flood that is somewhat dryer than expected, but impressive just the same. Baldy18 is yet again above the thirty wu mark in the April Fool's 6000, but I'm sure still unhappy with that number because the Awesome Aussie is approaching quickly from Down Under after tossing 63 wu's to the northeast towards Berkeley.
The participants in the Race to 3000 continue to produce prodigiously, led this morning by the Dominator's 39. Suprising the racing world still, is the Jeep Man who is consistently over the 20 wu daily mark, making the task ahead of his race mates that much more difficult. Karsten equals KC's output at 22 in his own sector of the racing world and nemur throws down a big time 15 in the Quickie to 1500, putting some pressure on the Texas Two-Stepper, Boogie Woogie who has fallen 13 workunits behind. ShotgunSteve powers forward 20, lengthening his lead to 43 over Avenger01 in the Fabulous February 1500 and Admiral Engineer and the Federation sucked some large pieces of space junk into the dark matter input ducts, as they sputter forward a single parsec on the second day of their Race to Crunch 3000 with Major Tom and the Pie Guy.
Advancements among racers on 2/17 include DroolMAN! up 2 to 63, KCJeeper up 4 to 150, conjur up 2 to 194, m2kewl up 3 to 202, DarkMajiq up 1 to 130, Domination up 1 to 211, Ishmael2k up 1 to 190, Karsten up 1 to 249, micron up 2 to 252, Emos up 2 to 207, ShotgunSteve up 3 to 233, Avenger01 up 1 to 245, TWTA up 3 to 41, Electrode up 1 to 112, Dazmite up 1 to 147, Crazee up 9 to 234, BigFatCow up 4 to 261, zeruty up 1 to 343, teriba up 1 to 411, Team Geekender up 4 to 944.
