For the first time in two days, we have a winner. This time it's the Capacitance Man, the one and only Electrode who electrifies the crowd by powering his way across the finish line in the Free-For-All to 3000. Using a combination of alternating and direct current, the young Electric Man reaches the 3k pinnacle, earning a golden key into the third K-Club on his long journey towards Seti greatness. He may be a bit young to enjoy the traditional pleasures of beer and babes, but there's plenty of sody pop in the fridge and a he's more than welcome to enjoy a nice long relaxing dip in the hottub. Congratulations, Electrode. We all got a real "charge" out of your victory!
There's been a major explosion in the Race to 10,000 originating from the defster's camp. Laying a suprisingly large dose of smack-down on his competitors, the rogue racer ferries 99 workunits right up to Berkeley's doorstep in the back of the muscled-up El Camino. Exceeding his closest competitor's production by a whopping 28, def has been full of suprises in his latest incarnation as a traditional Seti racer. Lane42's once comrfortable lead at the front of the pack has decreased to just over 200, shrinking by a shocking 89 wu's overnight. Meanwhile, despite cranking out a mammoth 71, GreatWhiteNorth sees his deficit increase.
Jumping down to the April Fool's 6000, the Pie Guy continues to knock wu's off Baldy18's second position placement with his smooth and powerful production, eclipsing 50 on a dily basis. Up ahead, cakin continues to plow forward, conscious of the rumblings to the rear yet single-mindedly concentrating on the goal ahead. Speaking of rumblings to the rear, Eltano1 shows up big-time in the 3000 wu Romp, appearing almost Droolie-esque with his incredible display of dumping prowess, sending 181 cracked packets towards California. That should cause more than just a little uneasiness in Woof's doghouse as the man from Miami runbles to within 111 wu's of second place.
First and last earn kudos this morning in the Race to 3000 as the Jeep Man crunches nearly twenty, his rigs obviously no worse for the wear after being covered with ice for several days. Dom's dominatingly consistent style from the back of the pack has him on schedule to be right up there with the leaders when the finish line finally comes into view. neovan spurts forward 28 in the March March to 2000 while Karsten produces well yet still falls two behind his closest rival running in second behind Ish who cruises with a comfortable lead. In what is becoming an exciting battle, the Quickie to 1500 experiences it's first lead change, with the rookie nemur showing racing prowess beyond his years overtaking Boogie Woogie for the lead on the strength of a 15 wu performance. Meanwhile, the racing sophomore micron continues his push from the rear with an impressive 18.
Advancements among racers on 2/15 include Electrode up 2 to 113, Eltano1 up 14 to 127, conjur up 3 to 201, m2kewl up 3 to 208, Domination up 5 to 218, Ishmael2k up 2 to 191, Karsten up 2 to 252, Nemur up 3 to 231, ShotgunSteve up 1 to 236, neovan up 2 to 228, Tarca up 1 to 70, Toft up 2 to 82, Dazmite up 1 to 148, Panhead49 up 1 to 173, medic up 1 to 219, Crazee up 2 to 247, Bleep up 1 to 250, zeruty up 2 to 346, Team Geekender up 1 to 953.
