No race winners this morning but there are certainly a few movers and shakers in the group today. Our most notable mover and shaker makes his recent daily appearances in the Race to 10,000, which receives top billing now that Polo and the Turtle have joined the tour circuit after their triumphant 10K achievement yesterday. GreatWhiteNorth is not simply shaking, he's nearly a full scale earthquake as he rumbles around to the sound of 130 workunits being pulverized beneath his rigs. Despite an impressive 46, the defster watches his lead over his closest pursuer dwindle by 86 in one day. Thank goodness for the race stagger.
The Sheriff now sees his production creep back up towards the forty mark in the Race to 8000 after a run of what can be called sub-standard days when his usual gifted totals are considered. There must be a particularly unruly bunch taking up residence in Labville this semester. Fardringle comes close to matching the Cardassian's output in Fardy vs the Cardy - Part Deux, but a photon volley in Fardy's direction and the chief steward in the matter/anti-matter chamber allow DUkat to add another six to his lead. Once again, the April Fool's are looking anything but foolish in their race to 6000 as everybody in the bracket earns a smilie with the Pie Guy leading the way with 55, followed closely by the Good Ambassador's 42.
Slahr Dzhe cracks and crunches a happy tune, slamming 45 workunits into the wu grinder and watching the twisted numbers make their way towards Berkeley's overworked servers. Better make all the hamburger you can now while Droolie sleeps. I have it on pretty good authority that his river will remain dammed up for the next several days while he is away. Electrode has a smile on his face this morning, sitting there a mere 22 workunits from taking the checkered flag in the Free-For-All to 3000. It's good to see his numbers safely up into the double-digit realm again. Look out for the Big Dawg in the 3000 wu Romp. With a paw poundin' 32, Woofs is digging furiously and just may be on the verge of locating those 9000+ wu's he insists he buried somewhere along the race track.
Smilies galore for the quartet in the Race to 3000, with the Jeep Man from KC stunning his competitors with 32 from the lead position. Two slots back, m2kewl rocks the house with a kewl 57 and a dropped jaw from the race coordinator for his troubles. Nice job by PhotoLenny in A Photograph of Confusion at 3000. CBW, the British Bulldog and friendly fellow race reporter, had best come up with a few assimilations before long or PL will be taking action photos of CBW still on the track from inside the 3K club lounge. More smilies for everyone in the Race to 2000 with Dom still chipping away at the stagger from the back of the pack of three and Karsten wows the crowd in the March March to 2000 with 33. ShotgunSteve, recently considering retirement from racing, should be glad that his request was denied as he more than doubles up on Avenger01 in the Fabulous February 1500 and Time2Kill is killin' packets instead of time in the Race to Crunch 1000.
