Wow, look at all those lonely racers! Guess I'd better get off my duff and find you guys something to do!
Our "Racers of Note" report this morning starts off with the Crunchin' Canadian Mad Max whose scouts have obviously returned from their foraging with a few extra CPU's to add to the fleet. Twenty is a number Maxwell hasn't seen for quite a while and it looks very good on him as he continues to lead the Race to 6000 by a sizeable margin. At the rear of that cluster, the Slobber Guy flat-lines again but that usually is an ominous indicator of a rather large dump forthcoming. Watch out come Wednesday. Everybody within spitting distance of DroolMAN! had best have their rain gear handy.
Still advancing on the defster's position in the Race to Catch def, Sheriff Zod continues to produce over the 40 mark, yesterday topping out at 43. The dual plumes of dust rising from the El Camino's tires are now distinctly within view and the stuttering roar from the old machine's exhaust plainly audible. mgpaulus at the back of the pack puts the spurs to Sparc-ie and cranks out a big-league 27, matching Admiral Engineer's performance at the rear of the pack. A few rumblings can be heard from the trailing position in the Race to 5000 as GreatWhiteNorth tops thirty. Could this be a sign of good things to come for GWN and some bad news for his competitors?
Baldy18 continues on his torrid streak, over twenty again, but the Long Island Rocker appears to be showing some signs of life in the second position, climbing passed the twenty wu mark himself for the first time since the start of the Battle to 4000. Sparks throws down a mammoth 41 in the Race to 3000 and the Free-For-All to 3000 sees two Free-For-Allers cross the twenty mark with Swanny just missing thirty with a big 29. This one should get very interesting within the next several weeks. PhotoLenny is still taking pictures at the starting gate in the Photograph of Confusion at 3000, but ConfusedBW is no longer wondering which way to run, dumping 13 and advancing on PL's position. That's a lot of ground to make up but we've all seen what the British Bulldog can do.
Serialb begins to lengthen his lead over JimMc and DarkMajiq in Another Race to 3000 as does Eltano1 over Evadman in the battle between the Three E-migos in the YART 1500. The Race to 1500 sees KCJeeper near twenty as he continues to stretch his already huge lead over a resting Panhead49. In the Race to 1000, CRV scratches off another 10 wu's towards his goal, now only 67 wu's ahead while r0tt3n1 closes in on ShotgunSteve. Better keep one eye trained to the rear, SGSteve because someone's got your butt lined up in their crosshairs. And the Race to 750 is quickly turning into a classic battle as only a single workunit separates Hoober and JetsFanatic as the two zero in on the finish line.
