The SRSM thread reached a zenith on this day when 113 individual crunchers were taking part in 22 separate races! :Q:Q:Q

Some memorable ( 😕 ) commentary from several of the races on that mid-summer's day:
What a time for the plasma inverters to fail in Captain Phil's warp influx phase compensator! Only days into the race to cover 3000 parsecs and the ultra powerful trans-galactic drive concept ship is left puttering through space like a Breem ore freighter. Meanwhile Captain Indy has the USS Jaws warp nacelles glowing blue with clean trans-warp power. In The Star-Studded Stellar Cluster Crunch to 2500, Lane42 has already nearly made up his entire pre-race handicap. Dumping a collosal 122, Lane lands right in the middle of the crowd trying desparately to keep the streaking wirelessenabled in view. Speaking of WLE, he fires off an impressive dump tally of 59 to turn a lead that yesterday numbered one over GreatWhiteNorth to more comfortable 31. Finally recovering from his unfortunate rendezvous with Rowdy Ray's Cane of Flatulence, Minnie Minendo appears bound and determined to get right back into the The Crunch Bunch Munch to 1500. With a stellar 49 wu burst, Minnie closes to within 120 wu's of the team of Great Danes who currently hold the lead.

Thanks for trying OD, it seems that we might need to start moving to another project, even though my PC is crunching fro Hurricane Andrew, so he can reach 10K (one of these days 🙁)
