Kicking off a third contest to 1500 which I'll christen the YART 1500, (Yet Another Race To 1500) are two returning veterans and another SRL rookie. Joining Evadman and Eltano1 on the track is Emos, sporting an overclocked XP and a six wu per day average. The three "E"-migos are matched up in a good one that should come to a close sometime in mid-February. Only one day out of the blocks and the rookie Emos impresses the crowd by churning out three over his average and earning a K-Club key at the same time. He's got some ground to make up, but a lot of time in which to do it. Good luck, gentlemen!
The three day old Race to 750 is looking more and more like the race to watch as Boog, Hoob and Woof move forward in a tightly knit package with Woofer taking production honors yesterday with 17. In the Race to 1100, Logix falls just one cracked packet short of quadruple digits and it's a good thing too, because the hottub babes just hopped into the tub with Emos. In the Race to 1250, Clueless certainly isn't as he has nearly made up the stagger, whacking 21 big workunits and pulling the pack to within 29 workunits of even. the Battle Royale to 1500 is also shaping up to be a hot one with the [/b]sequentially transmitted b[/b] now within nine workunits of respected forum veteran JimMc who takes high production honors with 17 while only 59 wu's ahead, the leader Dazmite continues to run on cruise control.
Super Sukhoi has to be wondering what he has to do to make up some ground. Producing two over his average yet again still leaves him low man on the totem pole in his race bracket. At least you get a smilie from me. Swanny breaks onto the final lap after crunching 12 and can now see the finish line 98 wu's ahead. The Pie Guy has been stirring the pot in the Race to 2250 lately, setting his sights squarely on Commander Tarca's fleet cruising over 150 wu's ahead but now within view. It would appear the Aussie has plans to avenge his loss back at 1000. Jumping up to the Quickie to 3000, crt1530 has the afterburners lit, producing 53 wu's and cutting a huge chunk out of his deficit while in the middle of the pack, Slahr Dzhe and the Great Dane team up to crack in the thirties and make a combined surge towards the front.
Orange Kid is feeling the heat in the Race to 5000! Scrambling to crank out 17, OK needs a small miracle to hold off the hard-charging, cane-wielding wild man on the little red scooter. Rowdy Ray and TWTA set fire to 66 workunits as they are certainly a sight to behold once they get a little whiff of the finish line. Amiral Engineer appears to be getting back to form as the Federation near the 50 mark for the first time in a good while and begin to put a little pressure on ZeroEffect in the Race to 6000. Captain Skoopa has pulled even with Captain Izzy as the two fly side-by-side at sector 9870 and up at the top in the Clash of the Titans, Titan JW has a victory in his back pocket, now cruising near the century mark on a daily basis.
