Apparently, the British Bulldog really did have a secret weapon stashed away some place. Pulling it out of hiding, aiming at DroolMAN!, and firing it have allowed ConfusedBW to power his way across the finish line in the 1500 Race-A-Roonie, putting an end to the Slobber Guy's valiant charge. The Man from Malaysia certainly made it exciting in the final week of this race. Congratulations on your second SRL victory, CBW. Congratulations to DroolMAN! and the Naughty Guy as well.
The Biloxi Bomber has the troops on the march again in the Race to 6900, this time cranking out 81 big wu's. Whatever inspirational tactic Smoke uses certainly has a tremendous rallying effect on his rag-tag army of crunchers. Unfortunately for Commander Smokeball, the Guildford Gentleman is also answering the challenge in a big way, yesterday working over 16 workunits to keep the Bomber's Bombardiers at bay. Both racers had better keep an eye out towards the rear though, as the Borg have reached the century mark and are gaining quickly on numbers one and two with a probable subspace conduit beginning to form in front of the Cube.
TWTA, now being lead by Commander Rowdy Ray of Task Force Cobol, begins it's relentless rampage through the ranks of the posse chasing down the defster in the Race to Catch def, leaving cakin, the misplaced Aggie, reeling in a swirling vortex of sand, dust, and fumes. Next on TWTA's list is Sheriff Zod, who's production has finally crept back up to it's previously stellar levels. I'm afraid even the strict adherance by the lab citizens to the Sheriff's new lab laws may not be enough to hold off the terrifying onslaught being masterfully executed by TWTA's task force commanders.
In the Race to 2500, Toft has seen the view from second place and has decided he doesn't like staring at Baldy18's rear end any more than Baldy enjoyed staring at his. A powerful run by the Great Dane leaves him still in second place but only by one insignificant little wu as the Bald One struggles to maintain his newly acquired number one seeding. After the incredible century purge yesterday, Jumpin' Jwyatt settles back into his normal daily production near the twenty wu mark, hovering only 47 workunits behind the leaders, waiting for his next opportunity to attack the two combatants struggling to capture the top spot. Ledzepp follows yesterdays 28 with a 27 today as he sets his sights on Sorcerer who cruises only 20 wu's ahead.
Thecool1 follows up his 19 from yesterday with another 19 today, creeping ever closer to victory in the ART 1500 while Majiq struggles to keep pace. No ground is gained or lost in Another Race to 1000 as serialb and Evadman match each other's output with seven each while Tarca puts a little distance between himself and PieDerro in the Marathon to 1000. But most notable in this bracket is PanHead49 who stirs up a little dust by cranking out 30. In the SETI 500, Ishmael2k lengthens his lead by two while the crowd holds its breath in anticipation as Corsairpro works feverishly to correct the recent mechanical problems he's had with his rig.
