I remember when Team Toft / Vold - DK, lead by the intrepid captain Peter Toft were racing to the 250 wu mark against such now famous (or infamous) personalities like Smokeball and Rowdy Ray. Today, Team Toft / Vold - DK has left that 250 wu milestone far, far behind. Today, Team Toft / Vold - DK sits at 12,000. Blasting their aimed for goal of 12K by 12/9/2002 into so much wu dust by reaching their milestone nearly three weeks in advance, Team Tofter Volder earns some well-deserved face time on the SRL Wall of Fame and a few Oreo cookies and some adult beverages to wash them down with while relaxing in the warm, soothing waters of the SRL hottub. Pulling up to the SRL lounge, the team of Great Danes piles off the Tofter / Volder racing bus and runs into lounge entrance like a bunch of excited school children, eager to spend some time talking about quarks and qubits with the most intelligent and lovely babes to ever grace a hottub. Congratulations, Team Toft / Vold - DK!
The SRL welcomes another member into the five digit club this morning as Tuffguy sprints across the finish line on the wings of a 200 plus power purge in The Great 10K CountDown. Another master of the "Dupe 'N Dump" maneuver, Tuffie leap-frogged both Mad MaxSiren and Brutus to become the 76th AnandTecher to enter the 10K Club through the front door. While SRL jewelers are attaching the 76 diamond studs on Tuffie's 10th K-Key, a pair of our race babes bring out Tuffie's official 10K bathrobe and official 10K hottub slippers. Meanwhile, SRL chemists are testing the hottub waters to make sure that the pH and hardness are just perfect for a relaxing and intellectually stimulating experience in the victory lounge. Congratulations, Tuffguy, and welcome to the 10K club!
