SRL party time in the 9K lounge! The Dominator crosses the finish line earning K-Key number 9 and a big fat smoochie from three of our lovely race babes. In a recent interview for SRL-TV, the network of the SETI stars, Domination was asked why he races. Is it for the glory? The stats? The cheering crowds? The personal gratification knowing that you have helped the world in a search for an existence beyond our own? "Hell, no!", was his emphatic answer. "I do it for the babes and the beer!" And why not, I ask? The race babes haven't seen Domination for quite some time and they've got a first class party planned in the 9K lounge involving beer, cookies, and a lesson about qubits, quantum computing, and stable-state linear ion traps. Next up on the docket for Domination is the quest for the Holy Grail of milestones and that final Berkeley certificate at 10K. Congratulations on the milestone, Dom!
It is an uneasy sector of the galaxy that hosts 2001: A WU Oddesy. Darth Polo, the feared Sith warrior, has fallen to fifth place and the entire quadrant is racing to forify force fields, hoping to be prepared for the moment of packet implosion that everyone knows is forthcoming from the Sith. Meanwhile, SoulAssassin has placed a 245 sector cushion between himself and the dark warrior. Will it be enough? Sizzlin' Soni is taking ownership of the 2000 WU Packet Blaster. His big 73 on the board from yesterday places him 30 wu's to the front and leaves his sizable fan base, filled with many, many lovely ladies, on the verge of euphoria as they cheer and squeel for their packet blasting hero.
Speaking of taking ownership, Starrider has just about placed both the Wascally WU Whapper to 1500, and the Serialized Burner Through the Stars to 1500 in his back pocket. Leading both races by sizable amounts, Starrider is bound and determined to be the first SRL rookie to win his first two SRL races in the storied history of the league. Speaking of rookie phenoms, how about LyNx01? As today dawns on the 1000 Workunit Blitz, he finds himself only a few days from victory in a race he has lead since the starter's pistol fired. And finally today, the 1000 WU Woad Wally is one weally exciting wace at the top of the wace bwacket. With the top six wacers sepawated by only 10 wu's, any one of our wespectable wacers has a weally good shot at wising up the wanks in a huwwy.
