Titan soni has broken into a dead run in the Clash of the Titans, putting more and more distance between himself and Titan JW with each thunderous step. That'll certainly blow the fourteen day averages all to heck! Titan Technologies is going to have a hard time predicting an ETA with that huge spike in the graph. While many may think that soni's 444 wu burst is simply part of his efforts in trying to win the Clash of the Titans, I have it on good authority that Hack is under the weather with the flu and soni is more concerned with putting some distance between himself and the Hackster. If you've ever seen a titan sneeze, you'd understand why. Oh, and titanically happy birthday wishes to Hack as he turned 10 (in titan years ) on October 28th.
One more day. That's all the time the USS Ohio has left before surrendering the lead to Captain Skoopa and the USS Poop. Captain OD and his crew have a real mess on their hands now. It would appear that their last ditch defense against the USS Poop, the KL torpedo, misfired and now there's clumping kitty litter everywhere aboard ship. It looks as though it'll be smooth sailing for Captain Poopsie all the way to sector 9000. Meanwhile, the USS IsOs continues their pursuit, covering 80 parsecs, but the Poop's recent charge has kinda put a damper on Captain Izzy's chances at reaching Archer V first.
A little moral boosting trip among the troops is just what Team Smokeball needed. Smoke's rag-trag brigade of crunchers was indeed inspired upon seeing their captain as they crank out 81 huge workunits to make Assimilator1's comfortable lead a bit more tenuous. Just as we suspected, TA Cube found a sub-space conduit and disappeared from everyone's sensors for several days only to reappear again yesterday. A little glance at aft sensors should make it apparent to Smoke that he's no longer alone in his neck of the galaxy. The Borg have re-emerged from sub-space just a tad over 500 parsecs behind the Biloxi Bomber.
Mad Max, our friendly Crunchin' Canadian, deserves the kudos today in the Race to Catch def as he manages to cover 31 dusty miles and gain a little ground on the man in the El Camino. In the Race to 2500, Toft dutifully dumps forty to extend his lead over Baldy18 to 99. It looks as though the Great Dane is tired of playin' around. ledzepp98 continues his impressive run, this time falling just short of the twenty wu mark, but high production honors in this bracket go to GreatWhiteNorth who cranks out 59 workunits to pull onto the same lap as Electrode who turns in 11. Hang in there, Electric Man!
DroolMAN! has decided to give the British Bulldog a run for his money in the 1500 Race-A-Roonie and it looks like DarkMajiq must have found something in that dumpster that can crack packets. With an excellent day that saw him produce 14, Majiq ties thecool1 in the ART 1500. The Marathon to 1000 sees PieDerro earn his 500 wu certificate, swap positions with Panhead49, and end the day only 30 wu's behind Tarca all in one fell swoop. Unfortunately for the Pie Guy, and everyone else in that bracket, it looks as though Tarca has returned to the helm and is about to get the fleet back into warp.
