Gotta make it quick, this morning.
We have a new heavyweight champion of the daily dump as the final bell rings in the SRL Heavyweight Title Fight to 5000 with the rookie challenger Leapin' LastKnight defeating the incumbant champ of the periodic purge, Poundin' PieDerro. The challenger came out smokin' from the first bell, staggering the champ in the first round with a flurry of jabs and round-house lefts with a few wu uppercuts thrown in for good measure. But just when the champ looked like he was ripe to be TKO'ed after two standing eight counts in the first round, he battled back, winning several of the middle rounds on all three judge's scorecards. But the early round battering the Pie Guy suffered took a little too much out of the champ and LastKnight was able to hold on for the remainder of the bout, winning by unanimous decision. Congratulations, LastKnight! Time for beer, babes, and physics in the victor's lounge.
