The two gentlemen running their rigs for all they're worth down in the Team AnandTech SETI 1000 are giving the patrons quite a show. Driving hard and aggressively, yet remaining completely under control, micron steams low off of turn two and passes frglss to take a three wu lead in the early going in what is becoming an exciting match pitting youth and exuberance against experience and cunning. With nearly 400 laps yet to race, there's still a long way to go, but if the early going is any indication, we're all in for a treat as this one progresses.
Sinister Oscillators is making people stand up and take notice in two separate venues with a big 48. If this is a continuing trend, the Dazzler may have his hands full in the Race to 2000 but srvblues00 appears to be out of reach at this point, hovering only 28 wu's from his first victory. In the Race to 1500, newcomer Minendo adds to his cushion over Maggotry which now stands at 15 in the early going and the YART 1500 sees the Evader come through with an impressive run of 17 as he attempts to put Emos and Panhead49 to bed.
Three smilies are awarded to racers in the Free-For-All to 3000 this morning as Swanny and Pabster continue their stellar output. The Pie Guy crunches up 17 which makes this race reporter wonder if perhaps he's about to explode all over his competition. crt1530 sweeps passed the Long Island Rocker with an astonishing run of 84 workunits in the Battle to 4000. That's Titan territory right there! With more and more days over the 40 mark, our friendly neighborhood Cardassian Gul Dukat must have found a crew with just the right physical composition to provide that extra "spark" while aligning the matter/anti-matter injectors. Gaining steadily on Fardy, who suprises the Cardy with a big 42, Dukat has closed his Galor class cruiser to within 52 parsecs of the battling Ute. Meanwhile, GreatWhiteNorth appears intent on putting this puppy away once and for all as he smashes out an impressive 48 to lead the bracket and draw to within 96 of the checkered flag.
The defster leaps forward with an impressive 36 in the Race to Catch def but Admiral Engineer and the Federation continue to advance, now within 38 workunits of the El Camino. Look at the Crunchin' Canadian crackle in Another Race to 6000! A big 22 puts him just a little more out of reach as he leads a group battling to catch up. ElFenix, the Alaskan King Crab, minces up 12 packets between his massive foreclaws to earn a smilie while the Slobber Guy makes more waves towards the back of the pack with 56. The Man from Malaysia has been impressive lately, to say the least. Sherrif Zod nearly breaks 50 this morning as he chases down that Rascal on the Ray Rowdy Rider leading the TWTA bus towards the 7000 wu marker and Captain Izzy continues the USS IsOs's run above the century mark with 106, causing NetworkMan and the Biloxi Bomber to reach for the Maalox in their respective races.
