Captain Funky steers the psychaelic Funky Bus across the finish line in 20,000 Before the Project Ends, or Else!, earning his 20th K-Key and a little butt time in the hottub. Unfortunately for MoFunk, when his pit crew installed the General Electric TF34 turbofan atop the Funky Bus, they forgot to tell him how to turn it off. As SRL officials and SRL official babes run for their lives, the Funky Bus clatters towards the winner's circle, afterburner still lit, a wide-eyed MoFunk struggling to keep control of the careening phsychadelic contraption. One of the babes rears back and fires MoFunk's K-Key through the bus' open door as he screams by so he'll have it when he finally figures out how to stop the bus or he runs out of jet fuel. Congratulations on earning that 20th K-Key, MoFunk!
Folks down at the The Great 10K CountDown are being treated to a whale of a battle between The Wildnet Team and Steell as they both have exited the final turn and are sprinting towards the finish line only four wu's apart in what will be a photo finish tomorrow morning to see who becomes the 114th AnandTecher to earn that coveted 10th K-Key. The Funky Bunch Packet Mauler to 5000 sees some pretty impressive dumpages amongst it's ranks this morning. Earning shockies for their efforts overnight are the pafster for his stunning 220 and Jolly JonB for a numbing 93. In the middle of the pack, Sizzlin' Soni opens up a 72 wu lead over CraigRT who seems to have thrown a packet protractor enunciator reduction gear cam rod in his racing rig, although his 54 on the day is nothing to sneeze at.
Shim Shim Shimmishim continues to fight his way through the cow patties in the Rock 'em Sock 'em Workunit Wipe Out to 2000 and now cruises only seven wu's to the Portly Bovine's very active rear. Ooooh's and aaaaaah's escape from the throats of the faithful taking in the action at the 1500 WU Power Pack Packet Pounder as they witness an impressive display of dump muscle flexing from Major Tom Tarca. Opening up the wu gates and pressing the red dump button on his dash, Tarca unleashes a major load of 171 workunits, hearkening back to the olden days when he could routinely purge in triple digits. Action abounds in the 750 WU Master Muncher Marathon in the middle of the pack where Powerful Pyxis, a look of sheer determination and steely concentration on his face, has cut his deficit behind ManWithPlan to single digits. While it may be too late to catch the streaking lobadobadingdong bell, Pyxis would like nothing better than to be the second cruncher from this bracket to park his butt in the hottub.
