It would appear as though a new titan of workunit destruction has emerged in the Funky Bunch Packet Mauler to 5000. During his last pit stop, Captain Funky had the psychadelic Funky Bus's engine overhauled and apparently augmented in the form of a General Electric TF34 turbofan engine. What was once a rickety old bus travelling in the mid-40's is now a monster masher approaching 200 wu's per day. The Pafster's near 300 wu lead begins to disintegrate in a hurry as he activates his rig's crash armor and and dons his blast helmet in anticipation of the jet-powered bus-of-misery's supersonic passing sometime in the near future. Somewhere out there is a very unhappy A-10 pilot flying in circles because his Warthog is missing an engine.
While Poundin' Pannie was adjusting the wu integration bi-lateral pre-chomp induction primer phase manipulator on his rig, Amazing Ammocan took the outside lane and staked claim to the number two position in 2500 WU Packet Crapper. Not at all happy with these developments, Pannie thumbs his nose vigorously in Ammocan's direction, as he begins to inhale someone else's wu dust from the third slot. The continuous roar heard at Wipe Out Stadium signals to everyone that a new leader has emerged in the Rock 'em Sock 'em Workunit Wipe Out to 2000. Pausing momentarily to chew his cud again, BigFatCow now finds himself in second place by one wu behind a streaking Captain CAD and Team Basilisk420. The 2000 Workunit Wonderland WU Whopper also introduces a new leader this morning as the King of Karnage Karsten dumped a load of fuel into the exhaust chamber and flipped the red switch on his cockpit console lighting the afterburner and surging into the lead by four over the stunned JimMc. Meanwhile, Big Bad Onebadv6 stakes sole claim to the three hole in what was a tie for third yesterday with Strider7.
