The 4000 WU Whacker Packer Roundup winds up this morning with a thrilling finish. Making a last gasp lunge at the tape is Lean Lane42, but his dive ends up 130 wu's short of the finish line. Lean Lane quickly jumps up and calls timeout, but besides being against the rules, it's too late to stop Makin' Bacon Cakin from taking the checkered flag. It was a strong start that allowed cakin to complete the second half of the race on cruise control, a tricky strategy considering that Lean Lane is a champion at the Dupe and Dump, but his heavy dumping at the start sealed the win for the Bacon Man. With the misplaced Aggie's huge throng of fans making spectacles of themselves in the stands, some with strips of uncooked bacon laying across their shaved heads, sizzling in the sun, cakin makes his way towards the awards stand where a certificate, lounge key and a plethora of race babes with huge PhD's await. Paf077 continues his magnificent run of high octane dumps in the Funky Bunch Packet Mauler to 5000, today letting 141 pounded packets slide down the wu chute into Berkeley's input tank. In the 5000 WU Queue Buster, Sheriff Zod continues to put the spurs to his trusty steed, galloping forward at a tremendous pace. The Sinister Oscillator has navigated to within 32 wu's of Reagan CRW in the 3000 WU Whappin' Flappin' No Nappin' Workunit Wipe Out. Wobbling with all the evilness he's capable of, the second place racer has put tremendous pressure on RCRW but the nagging thought persists in the back of his mind that RCRW has that pouch full of enriched uranium dust he likes to sprinkle on his crunchers for some extra punch in an emergency. AstIsis keeps pouring it on in the Whack 'em Smack 'em 2000 Packet Pulverizer. As her huge fan following hoots and hollers in the stands, AstIsis strenghtens her hold on the second position with an impressive 28, widening the gap between her fleet and Whackin Wiz to nine. And lobadobadingdong bell has crossed over the mid point of the 750 WU Master Muncher Marathon with an 83 wu lead over the second place ManWithPlan.
