Traffic signs held aloft, fans at Beat Park chant "Yield! clap! clap! Yield! clap! clap! Yield!" because their hero, the Crackin' Canadian, Yellin' Yield has become the first competitor to beat the race coordinator over the head in Beat the Race Coordinator (Over the Head) to 3000. In what was an incredible battle between the top three racers in the bracket for much of the race, Yellin' Yield yanked his yellow queue dump lever near wu marker 2000 and surged into the lead where he would stay for the rest of the race. Holding off hard charges from Captain Funky in the psychadelic Funky Bus, Yield becomes the first to earn the right to grab the rubber chicken and pound the race coordinator over the head with it. This was indeed an impressive run for the young Canadian, raising his daily average by nearly 20 from the race's beginning. The babes await in the lounge and you get first dibs on the various Canadian brews chilling in the fridge. Congratulations, Yield! :beer: :beer:
Also earning the right to party this morning is Masterful Marrkks who crosses the finish line in Last One to 2000 is a WU Wimp! As he takes the checkered flag, being waved by one of the race babes, some of Marrkks' many maniacal fans spill out of the stands and onto the raceway, manhandling the new champion out of his racing rig and onto their shoulders, parading him around the track while the rest of his fans cheer wildly in the stands. Tossed about on the shoulders of his entourage, Masterful Marrkks continues to periodically dump a wu or two, a sight that causes the crowd to roar its approval proving that in the SRL, if you want the fans on your side, all you have to do is dump your queue. And for those that just can't get enough of our newest hero, you can pick up your very own Masterful Marrkks bobble-head dump doll, now available at all SRL souvenir stands. A must-have for every SRL racing afficianado, when you tap the doll's head, it dumps. :Q Congratulations, Marrkks! :beer: :beer:
