The crowd at Dumper Stadium rises to its feet and joins in a thunderous chorus of cheers and chants as the first winner crosses the finish line in the 1500 WU Dynamite Dumper. A rookie who made quite the first impression, Jolly JonB ran a masterful race, domimating what early on looked like a close battle between his munching machinery and that of Nasty Neovan. After several days of back and forth jostling, Jolly Jon took the lead for good, coaxing an average out of his racing rigs that few thought he could reach. Beating back a late challenge from the Nasty One, [/b]JonB[/b] shifted his fleet into high gear and ran away with the contest, his eyes on the prize and a long tall glass of Prickly Pear Mead in the winner's circle. Now it's up to the race babes to show the rookie the ropes as he makes his first visit to the lounge for a nice long butt soak in the SRL hottub. Congratulations, JonB!
Making a return visit to the SRL Hall of Champions is Why Yes YS who takes the checkered flag in the 1000 WU Packet Pounder Derby on the wings of a stupendous dump consisting of 48 pounded packets at Packet Pounder Park. ys, one of the babes' favorites, idles down his powerful machinery and rolls slowly into the winner's circle and pulls out a number of advanced physics books to carry with him into the lounge where he will join in some long-haired particle acceleration and plasma torus stablility conversations with our learned race babes. As his pit crew immediately hustles out to begin preparing YS's rig for the next SRL event, ys hands his physics manuals to the SRL butler (that would be me) and takes a babe on each arm, acknowledging the ovation from the sell-out crowd with a nod and a wink as he trots gleefully towards the SRL lounge for his victory bash. Congratulations, ys!
