They're celebrating in the state of Washington this morning as one of their native sons has reached the pinnacle of Seti-dom, morphing from four digits to five in The Great 10K CountDown. Whackin' Wiz finds the Holy Grail of milestones at 10K, adds another digit to his tally, and earns the respect and adoration of millions of viewers worldwide who tune into the SRL cable channel to see how the Seti heroes are doing. Whackin' Wiz becomes the 97th Teamer to cross the golden milestone marker and awaiting him at the finish line are representatives from five different companies wanting to sign Wiz up to endorse their products. Now that he has officially become a Seti Stud, Wiz can look forward to endorsement contracts for motherboards, memory, stomping shoes, Seti viagra, and of course, toilet paper. I hear that one company is even offering to come out with a line of Seti clothing that bears Wiz's name on the label. Pretty impressive, Wiz! Congratulations on reaching the 10K milestone mark!
Temporarily knocked off his feet by the rumble and roar emanating from the rear, Zippin' Zim continues to streak head-long towards the 1K milestone marker. That rumble and roar came from his competitor Bullet BobTheWizard who cut loose with quite a power purge over night. Leaving a pile of 25 steaming workunits in his wake Bullet Bob smiles as the SRL dump trucks, sirens blaring, enter the race track to clean up the mess. The fans in the stands at The Christof Crunch - Gotta Get To 250 have begun to chant "Chris-tof! Chris-tof!" for their hero. Still tossing two wu's per day down the wu chute, Crunchin' Christof's fans know that the object of their affection has a new powerplant in his future and are getting anxious to see what it can do. Poundin' Pazoo eases off the accelerator just a bit in the Seti Stud-Studded Stud Stomp to 4000, allowing Captain Clams a small window to gain back some ground. Keeping his dailies continuously above the century mark, Captain Clams has impressed the judges with his consistency and his dashing style of racing. And from the squeals emanating from the stands everytime the Shuxster purges, the ladies like to watch his rippling dump muscles, too.
Fresh off his conquest of TA Spot 50, Makin' Bacon Cakin now turns all of his attention to the Wild and Wooly WU Whomper to 3500 where he finds himself in the lead by 116. But Sizzlin' Soni is just refusing to give up, nearly matching the Bacon Man wu for wu. But most of the attention is on Lanky Lane42 who is looking mighty uncomfortable at the rear of the pack, his constipation continuing for yet another day. How long can he hold it in before the inevitable explosion? Things remain tight in Networkman and Swanny's 1K Sprint where Networkman is beginning to chip away at the Aquatic White Bird's lead. Now down to 37, Swanny glances to the rear and lets out a concerned honk as he realizes that NWM has narrowed the gap considerably. And DAPUNISHER and Awesome Adul continue to battle it out at the front of the pack in the Master Plaster WU Blaster to 1000 while Magnificent Maggotry, TheEvil1, and KCJeeper close ranks from the rear.
